Code tables allow users to setup lists of pre-defined records that can
be allocated within the system, for example: the country code table stores
a list of countries. When a user is allocating a country to a contact,
they click on the country drop down and select a country record. Capturing
codes in code tables prevents tedious retyping and allows accurate reports
to be generated.
Depending on a user’s access, users can read, create and edit records
stored in the code tables.
This module explains how to manage code tables including creating, editing
and deleting code table records.
Navigating in code tables
Code tables can be accessed from the Administration menu. Code tables
are divided into two types:
- General code tables (accessed from the Code tables menu)
- Financials code tables (accessed from the Code table-Financials menu)
Only internal user’s with Code Table: read, update or management
access can access code tables
