Working with Contact Roles |
|
| |
A contact role is assigned to a contact to identify their role in the reservation process. Each role has unique attributes that need to be established for a contact, for example: a contact can be setup with an 'agent' role, this means that details such as commission, rate types and payment plans must be allocated to the contact. In Resrequest 1.5.1 there are three contact roles:
- General: this is a contact that has no role created
- Agent: this is a contact who can be allocated as the 'agent' who (usually) derives commission from a reservation. An agent contact can also be a 'user'
- User: this is a contact who has a username and password on the system
