Overview |
- Different rate types can be allocated to accommodation. Each rate type has an associated currency
and Rate Period. Allocating a rate period enables users to setup different rates at different times
of the year. For example: 01 Jan 2003 to 31 Mar 2003 could be 'low season' and therefore require a
different rate than 01 April 2003 to 31 December 2003
- Allocating Periods to an accommodation rate type is applied on the Property-Rates tab
- Where a rate type changes (i.e. a different rate period is applied) on the calendar, the system
administrator can select to automatically split the itinerary item and apply the different rate types
or to apply the first rate type *
- Once a period is applied in the system it cannot be deleted
* For information to set this up, see the Defaults table module
