Main Menu
The main menu displays modules available within Resrequest. A drop-down
menu appears on hover of the menu option. To access a menu option, click
the option required.
Menus (users can access modules available according to their system
access rights - greyed out menus indicate no access):

Description |
Reservations |
The Reservation menu includes all functions relationing to
reservations. From the options users can check availability and occupancy
levels, create reservations, view reservations, edit reservations.
Menu options available here include:

Searches for reservations matching filtered critera
by reservation name and reservation number |
Availability
Calendar |
|
Accesses the availability calendar where external users (agents,
tour operators and the public) can check availability, and submit
a reservation request. The availability calendar is where an
internal user (the resort reservations office) can also create
a reservation using the reservation

Occupancy
Calendar |
|
Shows reservations currently recorded on the system and can
be filtered by status and agent. External agents will only have
access to reservations generated from their agency |

Displays all web-generated reservations for internal consultants
|

|
Reservation reports include a summary of reservations filtered
by date range, agent business summary and detailed reservation
reports |

Create a new contact. Contacts can be individuals
(a contact who is a person with a first name and last name)
or organisations (a contact record that has is a company,
business, commercial or government institution) |

|
A contact report filtered by Find Contact criteria.
On generation of the report, the results include a contact's
telephone and e-mail details |

Administration is where system setup and maintenance

Transfer |
|
Data transfer enables changed data to be transferred
from the local system to the internet

|
Here the system administrator can create and maintain access
control groups, which can be applied to system users. |
| Mail |
|
A report of all mail submitted in Resrequest that can be filtered
by set criteria
|
| Code Tables |
|
Code tables are where system defaults and records are created
and maintained, for example the Country code table
includes a list of all countries the system user will need to
access, the administrator can add or edit the list available.

| Property Setup |
|
Property setup is where camps and accommodation available
at each camp is setup and maintained. This is also where property
and accommodation information notes (visible on the calendars)
are setup.

| Client settings |
|
Resrequest offers a few ways clients can customise their own
front-end, for example, the home page includes three
images (which can be updated regularly), each image has customised
text which is created using a web-editing tool included within
the system. This is also the place where Booking Info (often
used as terms and conditions) can be added and amended |
