Link User to Property

An agent, business and property can have users linked to it; this often indicates a working relationship, for example a staff member Jill Smith who works for the agency Apple Tours. Linked contacts can be tracked through the system. Users linked to an agency will have the agency’s commission structure applied on reservations they generate.

Applying a link from this window will link contacts to this agent, business/property and will automatically create a contact as a system user (i.e. apply a user role to the linked agency/business/property). A contact linked to an agent will default to having external user access rights and a contact linked to a property/business will default to having internal user access rights.

To link users:

• Create a new linked user: (in cases where the users details do not exist on the system): enter the user’s lastname and firstname and click the Add User button, the user will be added to the list of users already allocated to the contact. A username and password will be generated and you will have the option to e-mail this information to the user.
• Create a link to an existing user: click the Select User button and from the pop-up window select the users you would like linked to this agent.

To remove a user link from a contact:

• From this window: click the Remove Link button located to the right of the user’s details.
• From the individual user’s contact form: click the Remove Link button located in the Contact Relationship area.
