The Business structure is used to create and edit business units, properties and accommodation types.

To add a business to the structure, click the Add Business button this will open the business details form, complete the details and save the record. The business will be added to the structure.
Select the business/property/accommodation type to be edited by clicking the button next to the name. Click the Edit Selected button, the related form will open, complete the details and save the record.
Select the business/property/accommodation type to be deleted by clicking the button next to the name. Click the Delete Selected button or click the Edit Selected button and from the pop-up click the Delete button on the toolbar. All accommodation types linked to a property will be deleted on delete of a property.
If a deleted record has not been used within the system it will be permanently deleted. If the record has been used within the system before it is deleted, on deletion it will be flagged as ‘inactive’, this means it will remain visible on the code table for reporting and auditing purposes but will not be available in future selections within the system. An inactive record can be re-activated by changing the record status to active when in edit mode (the status option is only available once a record has been flagged ‘inactive’).
Select the property or accommodation type to be moved by clicking the button next to the name of the property/accommodation. Click the Move Up button to move the property/accommodation up in the tree or click the Move Down to move it down.

Business details that can be recorded include: contact address and telephone numbers, system users linked to the business and notes. Businesses created here are listed as options to setup as the ‘principal’ and the ‘Reservations Office’ on the default table. |
| Property | Property is the term used for a location, camp or site where guests can be accommodated. Properties consist of multiple accommodation types. Properties setup here are displayed on the calendars. Property details that can be recorded include: contact details (such as address, telephone and e-mail), calendar notes (a description of the property available when the mouse is pointed at the property name on the availability calendar), terms and conditions (predefined notes that can be printed on system-generated documentation), system users linked to the property and Rates. Properties created here are listed as options to setup as the ‘principal’ and the ‘Reservations Office’ on the default table. |
| Accommodation | Accommodation type is the term used for the room type guests stay in, for example single, double, family room. There can be multiple accommodation types for a property. Accommodation types setup here are displayed on the calendars. Accommodation setup here is displayed on the calendars. Accommodation details that can be recorded include: accommodation name and abbreviation, number of units maximum capacity (i.e. how many people can the room accommodate), calendar notes (a description of the accommodation available when the mouse is pointed at the accommodation name on the availability calendar) and terms and conditions (predefined notes that can be printed on system-generated documentation). |
