Mail Management

The mail report shows a list of all emails submitted within ResRequest. These emails include:

NOTE: External users can only read Emails for which they are the sender.

Filters for the Mail Report

  1. Select a server filter.
  2. Select a status filter.
  3. Select a date range.
  4. Select a reservation number.
  5. Once all the filters are set, click the Generate Report button

Terms and Definitions

Server The name of the server from where the email was submitted.
  • Local refers to the offline system.
  • ResRequest USA refers to the server in America.
  • ResRequest SA refers to the server in South Africa
Status Refers to the emails status.
  • Sent: the email has been submitted to the server for mailing to the recipient.
  • Pending: the email is waiting to be submitted to the server for mailing (usually in the case of waiting for a data transfer).
  • Failed: the email has not been successfully sent and will need to be resent.
Status date The date the respective email status was applied.
Status time The time the respective email status was applied.
To The recipient of the email.
From The sender of the email.
Subject The subject line entered on the email.
Msg (Message) On hover-over of this icon a pop-up displays showing the email message. Clicking the message icon will open the email, options available include: forward, reply, delete and resend.
Log Info A technical log of the email history.
